The thing about Miles is I still remember when he came out in the comics. It wasn't that long ago tbh...2011 and he got his fair share of hate. But he's also gotten a lot of love, a fire ass movie and he's incorporated into the shit well. The level of excitement people have for him makes me feel good. Its how I felt when i first saw him.

I've lost count of how many times I've come back to watch this now. I still get excited at everyone's reaction as it was the exact same as mine! 2023 has been a let down for the games I was looking forward to and the state they were released in. Now Spiderman 2 and the high expectations i have for the game and its studio Insomniac. I really believe it will be the next ah ha moment for gamers of what these console's are capable of with a dedicated studio behind the IP. Dominican isn't a race, more blks resides there than here in America. Rio Morales (Miles's mother) is Puerto Rican; his father, Jefferson Davis. Miles is darker than me, but is mixed. Even though he's bilingual, Miles pulls more from his father side looks, family & culture wise. That's why people unknowingly refer to him as black Spider-Man. Plus most Puerto Ricans have African heritage.
