I don't think anyone expected to see someone who was blipped go through it, let alone a new character introduced in the MCU. I also liked how showing someone who was blipped see a world change around them from where they were when it happened to where they are now coming back (despite not feeling like they were gone for 5 years). I'm surprised, in this series, we got a reference to The Battle of New York and The Blip. What was also heartbreaking was the first thing Yelena wanted to do was contact Natasha, even though she was already dead beforehand. Man, I love this show. I didn't expect to love this Hawkeye show. I can't wait for the finale this Wednesday.

Yelena being snapped adds a whole new perspective to Natasha in Avengers Endgame

Explanation. When Yelana snapped back. Natasha had just been killed, off of earth, on the planet Vorimier. The only ones who knew Natasha had died were at the Avengers headquarters. Which was destroyed and a pitched battle was fought nearby. A lack of communication means that Yalena heard about Natasha's death, days or weeks later. So in the home Yalena was met by the woman and her family could not have known about Nat's death already. We don't know who told Yalena that Nat was dead. That person could have told her just about anything about how Nat died.

@@reuben3588 It is not so obvious to every one. It gets complicated when it comes to between Nat and Yelana. Why wasn't it explained to Yelana? Maya's father was definitely killed by Clint. Nat allowed herself to die. If some one kills Clint, no one is going to see them as a hero.

We do know who told Yelena who is "responsible" for Natasha's death. It's shown in the post credit scene of Black widow. As for Yelena learning about Natasha's death, the information seems public considering everybody reaction toward Hawkeye when Nat is mentionned by anybody. And before you ask "couldn't somebody from SHIELD or Hawkeye himself go tell Yelena about Nat ?" considering what happened in Black widow, nobody from the main crew seems to be aware of who Yelena is (maybe Fury but he's kinda offworld since Spiderman Far from home)

Yelena blipped back to the future when Hulk had the stones and snapped his fingers...just like everyone else who came back. Nothing happened to anyone when Black Widow died other than they lost a friend and wouldn't know until they all arrived again in the present, when Clint would tell them. When Bruce snapped, 50% of the world came back, which is why Hawkeye's phone rang within a minute or two post-Hulk Snap, as Laura and the kids had just returned. When Scott looks out the window after Bruce snaps, you can hear birds again, and Scott says, "Hey, guys. I think it worked..." And it did. When Tony snaps, he dusts Thanos and Co. That's the endgame.

It was confirmed that Bruce wished everyone was in a safe area when he snapped according to the script. People dusted in planes would appear on the ground, people would not appear in walls, dusted would appear in a safe area.

It's interesting watching each of them catch on. Some of them add it all up almost immediately and catch on, for others, their brain breaks a bit. With a twist like this, the latter is entirely understandable. Yelena would have no idea that Natasha was dead. Fantastic writing and directing here.

What twist? It's so obvious that scene is the perspective of someone who was snapped and then unsnapped. If you've watched Endgame, Far From Home and Wandavision (which they all have), it's explicitly mentioned that for them, the time jump is instant. This is just the first time we're actually shown on screen what it looks like from their perspective.

People forget that the minute after snapping everyone back, Thanos bombed the compound. I doubt anyone knows Natasha is dead yet except the Avengers, but we don’t know how much time there was between gathering the stones and constructing the nano glove for Hulk’s snap. Explains why Monica was so confused in WV. For her, she was gone for 5 seconds. This was heartbreaking, but I’m also glad they didn’t have her explain that Natasha was dead bc there’s no way she would realistically know.

Exactly, I’m not sure why everyone expects the world to know about Nats death when I just accused prior to the snap back. Now in Endgame there is alittle bit of time that goes by as they’re assembling the new gauntlet. So technically there is some time in there that they could’ve told people about her death but I doubt it. Im sure they were more focused on the bringing people back to broadcast their loss right away.

I always wanted a series about random people affected by the blip and each episode starts with scene like that. No superheroes just common people. Most people including the reactors never had felt it so deep about it so it was amazing to watch them realize it was just seconds for them while years for others.This is an extreme case of how common people are affected by the decisions of few powerful individuals. Not to mention the collateral damage aspect of it. If a pilot dusted away but few passengers didn't but died anyway because of the crash will never come back. Dead bodies in remote areas, mountains, deserts, oceans. Imagine families and friends wiped out never to return again. Also people who had their world taken away from them in seconds. ◇ Like the man who just went to fridge to grab a beer but dusted and came back to find a new family in his house not knowing it was sold 4 years ago. He doesn't know where his family is. ◇The mom who was working in kitchen waiting for her children to come home from school but dusted and came back to find they are in college now and husband is now serving jail for selling drugs. ◇ Athlete who dusted before he could finish his race came back to find new competition in his career while also dealing with the fact that his girlfriend moved on in life with his best friend and now have a child. His father passed away and mother is very ill. Will he be able to make his comback again post blip? ◇A woman jumping from her highrise apartment to give up on life but regretting her choice as she was moments away from her death but find herself on the ground lying. Absolutely shocked, she storms up her apartment to find different family living there. But everyone is shocked when her husband came out of the bedroom shocked himself what's going on? All he knows he went to sleep to wake up to strangers in his house. He later found out he was blipped while asleep and luckily his wife too. Will she find new perspective on life since getting a second chance? Missing persons case tsunami where people aren't even sure if someone was snapped or actually missing and tons of families didn't got closure until blip ended.

That was freaky, like for those who got snapped away for 5 years it and snapped back into existence it was just like 5 seconds or so. Then, their brain is sort of rewiring to adjust to the new reality, that's why it looks like the background has that fading in effect, maybe that's how you would see your surroundings the second you got snapped back. It's like the biggest mind trip you'll ever experience. I'm also wondering if like it was more than 5 years like 10 or 20, what would be the time delay for the reality shift to happen if the base computation is like 1 year = 1 second, then for 20 years dusted, your brain would start rewiring itself for 20 seconds to catch up 20 years of lost time, so you'll experience the reality fade in 20 seconds longer.

It was actually explained by one of the producers before, I forgot who. He said that when Bruce wished for all people to be brought back he wished for them to be brought back safely too. Therefore everyone on planes or between walls etc... Would be snapped backed safely.

When the snap happened in infinity war the after credit screen had a helicopter fly into a building. The reason being the people were snapped, so when the second snap happened those who were flying fell to their death. So I’m waiting for a marvel movie/show to show bodies randomly falling from the sky.

To be fair about whether the world knows at this point about Natasha's death, we have to look at the timeline of Endgame. The Avengers go back in time to get the stones, Nat sacrifices herself for the Soulstone and everyone returns to build the new gauntlet. There was a period of time - maybe a few days - between them returning, building the gauntlet and Bruce using it - that maybe the Avengers put out a quiet press release saying that Natasha Romanov had fallen in battle without giving any details as to how. This is probably unlikely but still a possibility.

No, in Endgame Spidey explained it perfectly, and even Tony said "Bring them to now, no changes to the last 5 years." So it makes sense that A.) the dusting was immediate, and B.) the surroundings changed because basically their brains had to reboot from the last saved point in them, which for Yelena was the bathroom as it was, but as her brain "woke back up" the "new" surroundings came into view
