That could be a very high possibility, but even if it doesn't, the Sonic movie trilogy will be a billion dollars in total. But I could easily see this making almost a billion, maybe a billion if they do a great emotional story, which it will be because of Shadow, but I am hoping that it'll be a bit more serious and won't have ridiculous side plots like Sonic movie 2 had with the whole wedding thing

I don't think it will reach that high cause yeah you'll have millions of video game fans watching it but they make up a smaller amount of movie audiences. Fnaf, was very highly anticipated but made just under 300M. The first two Sonic movies made around 400M. Which isn't bad at all, especially for game adaptations. But I really doubt it will make IB. 500M to 600M is my best guess. Which again is not bad at all.

I really hope we get Rouge in this movie. Shadow is going to need at least one member of Team Dark to connect with, since we all know he and Sonic never become friends, so there's not gonna be a "join the family" option with Shadow. Their personalities clash too much, and while they grow to respect each other more, Sonic and Shadow's rivalry is too strong for them to be friends. Shadow's gonna need to make at least one real friend, and that's always with Rouge and Omega. And, hopefully, create an opening for a Team Dark spin-off.

The trailer is 7/10 for me and here’s why. 01. Maria looks like Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter because of the hair color not matching the character 02. Gerald Robotnik is dead! 03. Gerald Robotnik is a grandfather not dad! Keanu Reeves is an amazing actor and I have high respect for him. I’m not a fan of the series but I have played from classics all the way to Sonic Heroes and a spin off game Shadow the Hedgehog.
