The title clock is basically referring to them waiting to enlist and also their fans waiting for them whilst they when enlisted in the army. The sudden pause and the phones ringing shows that they are waiting around for the call that summons them to the army and also that the call can be very sudden and out of nowhere. It is basically a song telling fans to not forget them and to wait.

The only way I can describe this song is that it sounds very Infinite. Like, SO so so Infinite. And while it may not be my favorite song ever by them, there's something comforting about it that makes it a perfect "most of us are gonna enlist soon but here's a song for you before we go" comeback.

Ah infinite my loves I interpret it as the phone calls are calls to enlist and this song is about how we won’t forget them no matter the time it takes for them to get back. They’re reassuring that they’ll always love us so they want us to remember them

This is a definitely a very “Infinite sound.” I feel like it wouldn’t work with other groups. And while other kpop fans don’t prefer this sound, I LOVE it. It’s very comforting and shows that no matter how old Infinite gets in the Industry, they’ll find their way back to their roots. Not to say they aren’t diverse but they always find a way to incorporate their own sound and still keep with the times all at once. And this especially true with songs like “The Eye.”

Yaaaas it's been so long since you reacted to them T_T I do agree with the melody thing, and as a fan I'd like to point out that this song has great vocals despite 1 of the main vocals being absent. (Sunggyu who's in the army) I always think his voice is one of the things which stands out the most in their songs (part of the Infinite sound we might say) so it felt a bit strange not to hear it but the song came out beautiful regardless of that ;; thank you for reacting!

I'm so glad they enjoyed it, and I really do hope they check out a live version because it really is magical. Especially that floating, suspended section in the chorus with Sungjong and Dongwoo. I know they have a lot of reactions on their plate, but a part of me kind wishes and hopes that they'll go back to infinite and check out their bsides like Feel So Bad, Pray, No More, or Moonlight. Or maybe I hate since the composers for that song are the same as dreamcatcher's

edit: inspirits theorized there are a lot of phone rings as a symbol of them being called by the army to enlist, and the title is clock bcs they asked fans to always wait for them I’m so proud of them :’) I can’t believe it’s time for them to enlist, it feels like yesterday I watched their sesame street show and they all looked really young

Rather than artists who are already well known, I would like to request you guys to check out So Hyang, a Korean gospel singer who is recognized to be on par with greats like Whitney and Mariah by several professional music blogs and vocal coaches worldwide And correct me if I'm wrong but she is also the only korean artist to have been invited to perform togather with David Foster. She had also performed with the likes of Kirk Franklin, Brian Mcknight, Josh Graban and Michael Bolton who even praised her cover of "Lean on me" as a Virtuoso performance. But what boggles my mind is that even with all the attention she is receiving from the international music community there is almost no mention of her in any of the big korean channels and ones that deal with Kpop and Korean music related content It is sad to see artists of such calibre not getting the respect and appreciation they deserve from their very own people I hope you guys can help spread the word by reacting to a few of her popular live performances Covers: You raise me up (Immortal songs 2) Bridge over troubled waters (IMS2) Lean on me (IMS2) I have nothing (DMC festival 2015) Originals: Dream (DMC festival 2015) The day sunshine kissed me Wind song (OST from Drama Go back Couple) How far I'll go ( Official korean dub for Disney movie "Moana") Also, I'm curious if there is some resistance to gospel music in the Korean music industry and Korea in general.
