thank you for reacting to LUCY!! i hope it's ok for me to recommend a song for you to react to here but i HIGHLY recommend reacting to LUCY -10sec (a bside from this album) the song had a mix of various genres, it has a jazzy feel but also have kinda bossa nova feel too! wonsang (the member who is also the composer/producer/arranger of this song) even said that this is a great song for music school students to study because of the complicated style ^^ (it also has a jazz violin solo 👀)

the constructive feedback was so beautiful because lucy really experimented with this song (and album overall) and receiving such feedback would definitely help them grow to be better musicians. would also love to point out that wonsang (lyricist, composer, arranger of this song) has only been studying (midi) production since 2018. I WOULD definitely want to see you guys react to the rest of the album. i think as classical and jazz musicians, you would enjoy reacting to (the violin line is so cool pls do listen to it), also has more of like idk staccato? keyboard and played with like silence i guess?. for songs that features more of the same mellow tone and like magical instrumentals, , , and

so cool to hear your guys' opinions :0 i think i kinda get what you're saying but i feel like the song stayed away from being too dissonant/leaning into that more darker nostalgia sound because the nature of the song is supposed to be Fully optimistic...? idk at least thats how i interpreted it. ( this is me just speaking on vibes and emotions i get from listening i do not much about music theory at all so this is all based on personal, probably inaccurate, opinions🧍🏻) nostalgia is very much a double edged emotion where it's wistful and sad as much as it is a pleasant but i feel like the way nostalgia is used in this song is the reason why it stayed purely on the "happy nostalgia" side. the nostalgia is supposed to comfort you, the listener, and be used as a tool to better your present day to day. i feel like if the song had too much in the music to hint towards the darker underbelly of nostalgia it would ruin the purpose of the song. the song isnt about making u wish u were a kid again, it's about realizing that nothing is stopping u from living in the present with the mindset of kid. but idk maybe adding in the dissonance wouldn't have taken away from the message of the song and there was a way to appease the two but idk enough about music to run a simulation of what that would sound like that in my head, let alone how that would make me feel listening to it hahaha but i do agree with u that it is a very kpoppy sound! but knowing wonsang i cant imagine that it wouldnt be on purpose lol i think i just get the vibe that this song is meant to be very sweet and gentle and light anyhoo it's so fun hearing your guys' review !! im always so fascinated with how musically talented/skilled u guys are :0 feels like watching a magic trick whenever one of you guys immediately play something to give an example of whats being talked about it's very very cool

this video is so well done. the idea , concept and setting is amazing. thumbs up to the creative directors. i like they engage the actors as well. the song is for sure nostalgic but still i get a sweet feelgood vibe. Thank you for your reacttion video! It's always really interesting. Actually the song is not mainly about the nostalgia, but about our mindset living this harsh life. When people were young, everything adults do seemed really interesting, even wearing ties or driving cars. This song wanted to say that when you feel bored or tired, remind those mind of childhood and just do your work jist like you are a kid who dreamed of wearing a tie or driving a car! So I thought the brightness of the song matched with the message well. And it's really cool to watch you finding codes of phrases in seconds kk It was good to listen to your professional view about this song. Thank you for your reaction again!

Thanks for helping me dissect my mixed emotions about this song!
