In 2010, “Dear Mama," was one of 25 songs added to the National Recording Registry in 2010, with the Library of Congress stating ""Dear Mama" is a moving and eloquent homage to both the murdered rapper's own mother and all mothers struggling to maintain a family in the face of addiction, poverty and societal indifference." Shakur is only the third rapper to be commemorated in the Library of Congress. On April 7, 2017, Shakur was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, after being nominated during his first year of eligibility. Shakur is the first solo hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

This song is so influential that it was one of 25 recordings selected for preservation at the National Recording Registry in the Library of Congress in 2010.

Tupac was the most versatile rapper ever. He could make love songs, conscious songs, hardcore songs, diss songs,... And sometimes he even mixed a love song and a diss song together (in a track called "Toss it up"). His range was amazing, and he was the best at all type of songs.

Tupac Shakur is the only Artist Dead or Alive that has a song for every human emotion! #RestInPeaceTupacShakur 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 2Pac had over 700 unreleased songs when he died!

Tupac wanted to be more than just a rapper. As he says in his song Unconditional Love "my mission is to be more than just a rap musician The elevation of today's generation, if I could make 'em listen"

Here are some other 2pac songs you may want to check out: - Changes - Brenda's Got A Baby - Keep Ya Head Up - I Get Around - Me Against the World - Who Do U Believe In - Unconditional Love (avoid the cringey distracting post-mortem music video) - Only God Can Judge Me - So Many Tears - Trapped - Hit Em Up - Better Dayz - Thug Mansion - Starin Through My Rearview - Until the End of Time Tupac being a gangster is unfortunately a common misconception. He was a complex and passionate actor, rapper, and political activist with an edge. You can learn a lot about him as a person through his interviews (he's known as one of the best interviewees) and documentaries (Tupac: Resurrection - In His Own Words, Thug Angel, Dear Mama). Also, 2pac was actually the biggest rapper at the time of his passing.

I forgot to mention. Speaking of movies. I highly suggest Tupac Resurrection . Its a movie/documentary, there are many movies out there, but this one is the best one out. Its narrated by himself and show lots of clips from friends and explains lots of the important details.

Yeah, Tupac’s mom Afeni story elevates his own legacy. They were with the business.

Tupac was huge at the time and was only getting bigger. Besides his music he was also starring in movies, was going into fashion and also was outspoken when it came to politics. Before his passing he was working on new contracts to continue making films, new record label and clothing. You can say tupac was actually a celebrity/icon at the time and not just a rapper.

BTW, before Tupac's mom got acquitted she was facing over 150 charges and 300 years. She represented herself and was found not guilty.

To shorten it up, the black panthers were real heroes. They fed the community, made makeshift schools for the kids to learn properly and protected the people. They were so pivotal and important to the black community that the government did everything they could to destroy the structure that the panthers were putting in place along side the civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King Jr and Malik El-hajj Shabazz Bka Malcolm X. It’s a movie about one black panther leader in Chicago named Fred Hampton. The government devised a plan to have another black man infiltrate the party and find out a way to get rid of them. That man ended up getting Fred mur---d by the police while he was literally sleep in bed with his pregnant girlfriend. That same man went on to do an interview telling the truth of how they used him and threw him to side afterwards. Sadly after that interview, he walked out into the street (most likely on purpose) and was struck by oncoming traffic.

It was not like he cranked out like 20 albums.. Damn close. Manz definitely cranked out many albums before passing to the point that albums were being dropped after his passing because he had that much cranked out before passing.
