of course! it truly depends on the book tbh. some of them i'm a bit more analytical but in most i'm v informal! there's a ton of "LOL's" and "OMG's" haha. mostly just my thoughts as i'm reading. on this specific book i did the following: pale blue - funny moments sky blue - wholesome moments medium blue - character analysis dark blue - sad moments greyish purple - absurdity/ew pink - creature intro's/traits + backstories light purple - preach! medium purple - pretty prose/quotes i love deep purple - relatable moments i also highlight any words i'm unsure of and write the definition in the margin next to it. hope this helps! xx
