@@jaybarksdaletv hello teacher. I will go first with this one. Although I knew what a plunger was, I didn't know the association the word has with the root word "plunge"! The association has made it easier for me to remember its meaning. Another interesting word to me was "evade". Other words and phrases include "vacation home" and "beady eyes" (here your facial expressions and tone were hilarious 😂). By the way, that word might has something to do the beads, the small spherical, sometimes hollowed out, physical objects. Lunge: I remember the word but not its meaning (this one, for real, tested my memory :)).

1-Clyde heart raced as he dove into the cold murky water.I think he might have been a little exited.2-I think that when his adrenaline rose,his survival mode was activate 3- I imagine it as style or Tarzan movies, a llittle terrifying but also funny at the some time

Great question. The word bore has many meanings depending on the usage. In this sentence bore means to give or provide evidence of something. In this context, the lake observed or recorded the events taking place. Another example is, "Steve bore witness to the birth of his first child." However, bore means boredom when used in that context. For example, "Steve left the theater because the movie was such a bore."
