You can do a gold/diamond key one, yet it works differently. First make sure you are online and have keys in your mail, but don't claim them. Next turn your online off and wait for the top right of the screen to tell you that you are offline, and quickly save and quite. Now load up your save file, but stay offline. Go to your social and pull out the keys. ( take only golden one first to make sure it's working) save and quit again, then repeate this process ( you don't need to turn on the online again, you can now at this point keep claiming the mail.( make sure to stay offline)) This works on at least the switch version, as broken and unstable as the switch is. So I cannot confirm it on other platforms, but can confirm it on the switch given we haven't had a update in over 10 months. For switch I connect to the internet through my phone making it easier to turn off.
