I bet people are gonna get confused on why "Not for Kids" is in the title despite the video being parts from a kids movie. Here's the reason why. A month ago, a KZbin bot set my Mr. Potato Head video for kids even though the video is not set for children. I deleted said video after that. I figured putting "Not for Kids" in title might stop a weirdly-managed bot thinking that my videos are for kids. I have the Mr. Potato Head video saved by the way.

Dag is terrifying. The way he talks and acts is what a serial killer acts like. He finds delight in killing others which makes sense why he’s disturbingly skinny because Dag kills for pleasure not for food. Dag calling himself “lady killer” is named after a real life serial killer who called himself lady killer. Dag is also very smart because when his pack attacks Otis or Ben he waits for his enemy to be distracted so he can bite them in leg to weaken them. Despite being scary, evil, and dangerous Dag is a coward because he begs Otis and Ben not to kill him even though he kills for pleasure and finds delight in causing pain. Dag I feel is why I find coyotes a little terrifying. David Koechner did a good job voicing Dag which is ironic since he’s known for being funny instead of evil. Just my opinion since I find Dag underrated and don’t like how critics compare him to Scar.
@patronsaintofprocrastination Жыл бұрын
Yeah, like he has nothing in common with Scar other than the fact that both kill the hero's father, and even that is stretching it since killing off a parent is a classic villain action. Plus, Scar was more like a cunning dictator and high-functioning sociopath who blends in with the average crowd, while Dag is an absolutely insane murderer who probably can't even function on a basic level and is constantly addicted to the thrill he gets from killing.
@sirorliktheironclad Жыл бұрын
@@patronsaintofprocrastination Agree. Scar is like a dictator and Dag is like a serial killer. Dag reminds me a bit of Warren T Rat from Am American Tail but I consider Dag worse than him. It’s also not very common where you see a coyote be the main villain, usually it’s a bear, wolf, tiger, rat, or cat as the villain.
@sarenakushner5942 Жыл бұрын

It's hilarious to me that a silly movie about farm animals also has a much more terrifying and realistic portrayal of a serial killer than many horror movies. His voice, the gruesome state of his appearance, his laugh and how he's so insane that there is simply no way to reason with him... it's just great! The voice actor did an amazing job as well. I didn’t notice until recently that when Dag sees Ben, he’s actually crapping his nonexistent pants with fear. As a kid, I thought he was just annoyed that Ben showed up and interrupted his monologue, but, now, I realize that he was actually scared of Ben. Makes sense when you consider how Ben pretty much mopped the floor with him and his coyotes, despite dying shortly afterwards. Honestly, David Koechner’s vocal performance as Dag is the best part about Barnyard. He does a great job of making Dag both a terrifying and detestable villain who you want to see get his comeuppance.

@@Thateditguy122 True, though part of this could also be pragmatism on Dag’s part. He knows he’s not big or strong enough to take either cow on in a fair fight, so he doesn’t fight fair. In any case, both Otis and Ben put the fear of the Lord in Dag when they’re through with him.

this may be a bit of a hot take but I think they should've toned down Dag's evilness, would've been a far more interesting character had they made him more amoral instead of immoral, like he only kills and eats the chickens for survival sake and he's willing to do anything to feed himself and his crew, it would add more intrigue to his character in lieu of him just being a regular sadist, he is admittedly menacing but his writing is a little generic, I mean he even makes a point that "meaners have to eat too" he's an okay villain but I can't help but picture a more layered kind of antagonist
