So many people pushing in front of others to get their own pictures - maybe they should have a queue designated but that would make it seem more like an amusement park. What happened to common courtesy and manners???

Sadly good manners are a thing of the past.

Wonderful to see how the police officers start doing crowd control BEFORE THE BELL RINGS. Why anyone would want to touch a horse while he/she's walking away in just mind blowing.

Why don't people move away when the soldiers are attending their duties of the guard and the horse
@karenfein4774Ай бұрын
Awhile back there was a woman who wouldn’t move away when the guard came to check. He got in, but woman rudely stood there. When guard was through and turned to leave, she stood there in his way. He didn’t shout, just stood there staring at her. She was embarrassed and left. Loved it.

keep tourists back for crying out loud. Why is this so difficult to figure out and achieve. have guards stand on either side to keep tourists away even have retired guards stand post. goggle search and email the household Cavalry, MOD, London District and British Forces News to voice your concerns in protecting the horses. I did and I live in Canada, if I can do it anyone can.

The horses seem much calmer without the crowds of people pawing at them. I don't blame them for biting. The people thanking the soldiers are few and far between, it's a shame that we are such a thankless society.

Now if they could only keep people from entering the box, and draping themselves over the horse! / 8:38 - Laying your body on the horse is touching the horse!! This was super cringe! It looked like he was taking a nap on the guard's lap!! / 9:26 - Well down by this horse! She was causing a ruckus and the horse had enough!! Go away! 😬🤣

Hours and hours of shear boredom with moments of total madness. The horse and rider will probably need therapy after a day of this.

They are on 1 hour shifts
@Steve757-fl1hd2 ай бұрын
@@mikegray3089 even worse. I have been to London many times for my job. I have gone over to the barracks to watch the horses and mounted order. I never felt compelled to touch the horses or the riders. Mostly I watch for a few minutes then move on. Most tourists practically commit assault on the horses. Imagine if thousands of people rubbed your nose everyday? So, don’t think that 1 hour shifts somehow makes it all right. It’s stressful.
@HolyMoly_492 ай бұрын
If the constant attempts to touch the horses continues, I'm betting the guards will put a rope barrier to put a distance between the touchers and the horses. That's kind of sad because I have seen the guards and the officers grant special considerations to the handicapped and elderly in wheelchairs. There were quite a few extra rude people in this video - stepping in front of others already positioned to have their photo taken. Pretty darn pushy & rude!
@kathellison80842 ай бұрын
Good idea , not ! A rope barrier for the horse to get tangled up in and potentially injured ! It's a public pavement in Whitehall controlled by Westminster Council not MOD .
@lauriegood960715 күн бұрын
Why is it that the guards yell real loud to stay out of the arches. You can hear them clear down the street. But yet the guards on horseback they're either dumb, blind or stupid. Why don't they yell at people to get back or don't touch the horse. Why because they're rent-a-guards instead of real guards? This is enough to make a maggot puke this is totally disgusting. I know I'm not alone feeling this way.
