Cerebral exuberance is my jam! I guess I've been negligent in not reading Leve, might have to remedy that. I ordered the Assignment (and have the Bartleby, the Binet, and well the moviegoer (will try that first)) that sounded really interesting.. I like experimental novels, even failed experiments, and I think as someone not at all qualified to speak on literature that a book is experimental in its conception, even if it may seem quite ordinary as time moves on. I think it's a meta-property that's only interesting as literary history not so much for how to rate the text itself.
