I'm curious about how many reading projects you have going: Authors to read to zero, Newbery winners, recommendations cart, book exchange, patron recs, Christian NF read alongs, buzz words, alphabet… Maybe when you do your next goals check-in, you could touch on this subject? Thanks for the video. I think I've read a couple of classic authors to zero if you limit it to their published works, not juvenilia or letters etc. Except for a short Amazon exclusive, I think I've read all of Andy Weir.

I don't usually make it a point to read an author to zero, but I understand why a lot of people do. The only author I think I've read to zero is Sarah Dessen, which was not entirely on purpose. In college, I did decide to read her entire backlist, and then would eventually get around to reading her newer books, even though I wasn't specifically focused on reading everything she published. I probably wouldn't pick up any of her new books because YA contemporary doesn't interest me anymore, but she also hasn't released any new ones since 2019. I want to read more by the other authors you named. They are all ones I greatly enjoy! Thanks for the recs. I don't think there are any authors I have read all of their books. Probably the one I have read the most of is Agatha Christie, maybe 30 of hers. I don't like all her series, such as Miss Marple, but I really enjoy Hercule Point. I have one author, J. D. Robb, aka Nora Roberts, I have read six of, that has written more than 50 in the series, so I doubt I will ever read all of them. I've read almost all of Rhys Bowen's Her Royal Spyness series. which is a cozy mystery series that is hilarious and wonderful on audiobook. I've read some of her other books that are historical fiction as well. She is a good author, you might like. Another author of historical mystery you might like is Jacqueline Winspear. She is just finishing the book that will end the Maise Dobbs series, which will have 19 books at its conclusion.

I also want to read Jamie Jo Wright to zero, I think I have 3 to go but she has a new one coming out in October. Jen Turano is another that I read everything. I have her last trilogy to finish and I want to get at least one read for series September.

JJW writes her books so quickly! Love it, but also makes it hard to catch up! haha.

Joanna Trollope and Elizabeth Berg are my go-to authors.

Nice. I don't think I've read from either of those women.

I have read all of Emily Henry's adult books, but haven't read the YA. I have read the two that Tracy Lange has out and loved both of them.

I didn't think about authors who have 5 or fewer books. I could probably add a few more to this list.

I have read everything by Danielle Steel. She's my favorite author.

That's super impressive! There are so so many!

I want to read all of Connie Willis’s books but I’m also trying to save some so that I still have more to read from her!

I get that!

I definitely want to read more Frederick Bachman and Amy Harmon. I'll have to check k out Katherine Ray. Her books sound right up my alley!

I am 2 books away from 0 with Abby Jimenez. I want to read Stephen King to 0, but I am about 2% on that goal😂
@BooksAndJamsАй бұрын
Sweet! I would like to read more from her too. King has quite a few and they're all chonkers! It's a good life-time goal. haha.

I read two of Backman's books but when I started to read another... He's on board with LGBT which does go against my beliefs and I can't in good faith recommend him. However, Jamie Jo Wright sounds fantastic!

I understand that.

@@BooksAndJams - Thank goodness I didn't upset you! I'm new to your channel and I'm not sure if you're of the faith or not so I'm glad you took it well! I love your other recs and got some from KU!

No Brandon Sanderson? lol I think he would be an author who is tough to read to zero.
@BooksAndJamsАй бұрын
No way. At least not yet. He might get on the list at some point, but definitely not right now.

This is a great idea! I should do this as a goal for next year.
