I’m Lex Veldhuis, a poker professional and an official ambassador of PokerStars. I have been in the poker industry for 17 years and counting! When I was only 5 years old I got in touch with computer games and got very competitive with beating the games. In 2004 I began with my first online poker games and the rest is history. In 2016 I started streaming every single game live on Twitch.

I am very happy I found ur channel. Long time fan,correct me if I am wrong but I believe it was you that helped Mr DNegs transition from Old School to Modern Theory post 2008 approx. it was at that time I too started to delve in deeper to game theory. When Barry made his comment on “he put you on missed flush draw” I think it speaks volumes at how unaware he was to proper hand reading and in all honesty intimidated he was by you. You stood out as one the young guns that was very intertaining to watch and some of ur plays and calls etc were some of the very best of the time. I played 2/5 5/10 live for a few years full time back then, I drifted away from poker around 2012. But thru streams and utube content etc have become reinspired. I have much to learn ,and enjoy your videos. Thank you and any chance we could see you onHLC or LATB.

Lex at the start of the vid with your pair of 9, how can you tell that the one goes all in does not has AA, KK or QQ ? can you explain me how you make that possible combos? And one more if you can help me, Im trying to play more and more online poker in orer to win some extra money, would you recomend start with Bounty builder arround $5 ? I have a banckrol of USD 800, would be better cash tables ? tourneys? thanks! and sorry for my english, Im from Argentina

First of all: Love this series! Ty for your amazing and inspirering work! I just Hand an Idea, that it would be so nice for a learning experience, that you brake down many similar spots with slighlty different dissisionmaking from different times and tournaments in one Video. I would have never been able to call this with open ended like this(4th minute of the video). Isn't this a good bluff candidate ? I am hardly getting to this point with worse(maybe some guts). What hands do you consider bluffing at this spot ? Only concern is him calling with a better draw, but still I would probably shove/fold this, depending on if the guy seems like a fish or not.
