I rarely check goodreads reviews before reading the book because sometimes they’re so discouraging…I’m here for the vibes!!!😂

I just read haunting adeline and the second book (i gave them 5 stars) , and saw the reviews and i was like, "Well so what ?he had a big crush with her, at least he didn't cheat on her" Ithen I was like wtf did I just say, I just canceled myself

Can I just say the start of this video “I start sweating and then listening to my heart beat and then I start thinking I’m having a heart attack because I’m slightly overheated and start panicking for no reason.” literally the most relatable thing 😩😂

OMG!! We need a part two to this video, and you could reread the books to see if the reviews are right or if you stand by your opinions. I really want to know how they compare. This is literally the most painful thing you can do as a reader, but I love these videos so much!!!

You should talk to your doctor about Propranolol for the heart anxiety thing! A lot of people use it for performance anxiety to stop your heart from pounding and giving you more anxiety lol.

I feel like the booktok and booktube in general had gotten very pushy . Like so many “standards” to be a book reader. There’s no such bullshit. And judging other people opinion is kind of … idk … doesn’t feel right cuz if we are gonna agree in everything then I don’t know why everyone has different personalities and interests . I understand being defensive over a book that you loved and it isn’t necessary that everyone else should. If you read booktok books then well and good but know one is to say what you should read. Let me make this clear as well, I’m not trying to criticise her video it’s just my opinion on how the booktok “standards” is impacting the way we read and sometimes forcing ourself to like a book just cuz it got famous and would make you look cool. If you don’t like a popular books it’s 100 percent fineeee!!! It’s your opinion y’all. Read what you like and it’s okay to not read at all for months or years. You should always be welcomed in the book community. Read for you knowledge and entertainment guys. Don’t read to fit into the standards. If in any case this has offended anyone I’m sorry. But this is my opinion.
