When I read Legends and Lattes the thing I craved the most was the cinnamon rolls, I was thinking about them 24/7. I'm such a fan of Thimble!

I LOVED Thimble 🥐🐀 I got the recipe for Thimblets to put in my cookbook. It's essentially just a recipe for biscotti but I thought it was cute.

I am obsessed with Hello Beautiful, such a beautiful story 😍😍 I felt exactly the same way about Do Your Worst, I gave it three stars. Some scenes were cute but others were so cringey and awkward.

Hi Gabby! I think it’s the boba that’s throwing you off. It’s made out of tapioca and the texture can take time to get used to. Try getting it without boba or try other fillings like pudding 😊

This was a fun vlog! I bought Legends & Lattes earlier this year and it’s just been sitting on my shelf because I’m too intimidated to read it lol. I’m not a fantasy reader at all, so I never feel motivated to pick it up.

It’s an easy read and a great intro/reintroduction to fantasy. I read it earlier this year and flew through it. I’ve been wanting to re-read it too. Sometimes really hyped books can make a book intimidating to start but it’s VERY cozy and the dungeon’s & dragons aspect is more the variety in characters/ability but the cast is small. I hope you enjoy it, it’s a fun time :)

omg thank you for mentioning that Leave the World Behind was a novel first! I don't have Netflix and wasn't planning on seeing the movie, but I recently listened to a breakdown and analysis of the movie and it had piqued my interest. Now I can consume the story via book, my favorite way! I got the hardcover edition because the paperback has that stupid non-removable Netflix "sticker" on it smh. I lucked out and got a brand new publisher overstock copy though for the same price as a new paperback. 😄

Wow that's nuts that you didn't like A Winter in New York! I'm very picky about my romances but I liked Lydia Bird, so when I saw this one as a BOTM pick I was like, "Yeah it's Christmas, why not?" And I ended up really liking it! Josie Silver is two for three for me so far haha. You've also got me curious about Legends & Lattes! I've never been big into fantasy but maybe I just need to look on the cozier side👀✨

the christmas guest was so good! this year gave us a few new christmas themed thrillers so hopefully the trend continues. also excited to hear what you think of Hello Beautiful, not sure if it's technically a 'retelling' but it's definitely heavily inspired by Little women!

Judging by the Starbucks drinks you like I think you’ll like boba tea but I think you’ve been ordering the wrong ones! Haha You should try sweeter ones like Brown Sugar Milk Tea or the fruity ones! I get regular boba with Brown Sugar Milk Tea or lychee jelly (tastes like fruity gummies!) with the fruit teas (I also like Rose, Lavender, etc. but you might not!)
