Thank you. The iWeaveit program is fun to use. I like that you can play around with colors and changes to a draft to create your own design. It is better to experiment in the App than to make mistakes on the loom.

Is there a way in this program to have it generate the reversed pattern for the 2nd half of a pattern when you are doing double weave/double wide type weaving?

I am looking at page 74 in The Handweavers Pattern Directory. There are 12 tie downs, and the treadling is more than 6 treadles. I'm confused? How does this pattern work on a 4 shaft 6 treadle loom? Thanks

hello there thanks for teaching me how to read the weaving draft, I have a question, is the threading top across bar is design is the actual thread ends go through the heddle? thanks

Yes, if you imagine the bar across the top as if you are looking down on your shafts from above. The first shaft is closest to you. That is the bottom line in the threading bar. so if there is a mark on the 3rd line up. The thread goes through the heddle on the 3rd shaft away from you. Good luck with your weaving.

Your videos have been great and you have answered many of my questions. I inherited an older HD floor loom with 4 shafts and 4 treadles. Each treadle controls one and only one shaft. How do I adjust to your treadles that control multiple shafts? Do I just step on more than one treadle as needed in the draft?

Yes, you need to use both feet! Or sometimes you can hold down 2 treadles with one foot on both.

hey, im not english so im still a bit confused because of the terms used if this pattern where to be put in as a shaft code would it go :1&2 , 2&3 , 3&4 , 1&4 then repeat?

This is so confusing. What about a video on for rigid heddle weavers. More and more new weavers are exploring rigid heddle because of the cost and space factor in buying floor looms
