hoping she still takes him on long walks, creates mind-stimulating activities for him, takes him to the park if that’s what he likes, etc. dogs need exercise and not doing any of that is so cruel. dog don’t have a phone, tv, books, etc. they just have you. if she does do that every day and i’m wrong, great. i just feel like i always see him back there bored and staring at her while he plops down on a new spot, wide awake. 🥴

Ive also read The Ministry of Time and I LOVED it. I get what you're trying to say about sharing the books that you love and being apprehensive about it. Certain books can feel so personally connected to you that its hard to tell people about it in case they dont see what you see in them. I haven't stopped thinking of The Ministry of Time since I read it.

I had a similar experience reading The Ministry of Time! Just finished it (thanks to your review), and wow…. I would read it over again for sure. I don’t relate to having parents who were refugees and yet found the main character very easy to identify with in her personal struggle of morality. There were so many powerful quotes, amazing symbolism and metaphors that blew my mind. I’m baffled by all the bad reviews on it but I understand it’s a very unique writing style. I just thought it was one of the most thought provoking and emotionally riveting books I’ve read for a long time! 5 stars for me too ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m reading Ministry of Time and I’m on page 47. I almost DNF’ed it and now that you are saying you almost DNF’ed it at 70 and you are glad you didn’t, it gives me motivation to keep going!

I read a book called The Promise of Stardust and there’s a line at the end that talks about how the main character always wanted to keep looking back, into the past, when (minor spoiler) his wife was alive. But he has to remember to look into the future and see new life (his child is about to be born). Anyway, I loved the book and the line about staying in the past hit me hard.

Hi! Can I ask how difficult you find the vocabulary? English isn't my first language, so I'd like to know if the time traveling plot isn't as hard to understand as fantasy/sci-fi.

@@ellakvapilova8329 It doesn't go super in-depth in the time traveling parts(at least in the parts that I have read so far), the vocabulary throughout the rest of the book is pretty advanced, but definitely not impossible. There is a sample of 37 pages on Google for free so you can test how easy it is for you there!

Time travel is my favorite book trope! If you're looking for some good ones, try Time and Again by Jack Finney (don't bother with the sequel), The Time Traveler's Wife, Somewhere in Time (originally called Bid Time Return) by Richard Matheson, Intertwine (whole series by Nichole Van), or The House on the Strand by Daphne DuMaurier (author of Rebecca).

Health tip! Before taking vitamins, please get a blood scan beforehand, taking vitamins that you don’t need to take supplements for can lead to an excess and can cause more problems than that it helps you 😊 just be careful
