Little Women does take a chunk of time to read. It’ll make you laugh. It’ll make you cry. And definitely not a binge read. I’m glad I conquered it though! ❤ I buddy read it with my sister last year. It’s def worth reading.

I read Little Women in like a day and a half when I was in 4th grade because my teacher said I’d never finish it and I’m stubborn/petty 😂 I never thought I’d enjoy historical fiction either, but it’s honestly become one of my favorite genres

When you said you didn't read a lot of Historical fiction because 7:02 you thought it would be boring my jaw dropped. Some of the best historical fiction I've ever read is by Alan Gratz. He keeps you intrigued the whole book and the alternating POV's from each character every chapter keeps you on the edge of your seat. I highly highly highly recommend Refugee as the first one to read! There are three different characters whose stories are all set in different time periods, you may think have nothing to do with each other but at the end you find out their stories are all tied together in the most perfect way. Ground zero is also similar set up and is also a fantastic read!

I loved Hello Beautiful, definitely one of my favourite books I’ve read this year. But if you’re feeling like reading literary fiction, I can’t recommend The Heart’s Invisible Furies enough! I read it this year and it’s my favourite book I’ve ever read, it’s so funny, and both heartwarming and heartbreaking, and to me has everything I love reading in a book

I was kinda uninterested in little women when i first read it but the character development is soooo good! You really get to know and dislike some characters! You laugh, you cry, you get angry. It’s my all time favorite book and ngl i actually dislike some books because they didnt have such depth into the characters like little women. Everyone has pros and cons. Not everyone is perfect and i feel like writers tend to uncommonly write unlikable things about their mc’s but Alcott definitely served w this book
