It could be a 302 a 327 or 350 That number hits for three different numbers for three different kind of motors that ranges from 69 I want to say through 72 but it’s not just a 350. It all depends on the front numbers the back numbers on some of these engines will hit to only one motor if it hits to more than three it could be one of the three and you have to decode it from the front

@@Llothedon1 The one on the back matches a 302 a 327 and a 350 The number you gave me in the front doesn’t even match or you sure you’re looking at the right number because there are two sets of numbers the first it will tell you what year the engine block with made the second set will tell you exactly what kind of car and which one exactly motor it is

It depends on the characteristics of the block & what era or decade it was made in. That date code is July 25 of 1967, 1977, 1987 or 1997. Having a casting number to go along with this would help as some casting numbers were only made in certain years or for a certain period of time but you can exclude the 90's right off the bat if it is a two-piece seal and not a one piece seal. Other information like suffix codes from the stamp pad in front of the passenger side head or like the casting number of the heads that were on it as well as the intake manifold as well as some other little characteristics that were unique to certain castings or years. See where I'm going with this? Good luck and happy hunting 🫡😀
