I do think that some of the songs are about him but not as clear cut. I saw something about some of the songs being more general and about her feelings and experiences and not just on her relationships - i think its called a composite sketch. I could be completely wrong but thats just how i've understood it all 😅what are your favourite songs? mine from the standard album is ' who's afraid of little old me?' and the double album 'i hate it here' 'the prophecy' and 'the alchemy' i cant pick!!

I was surprised at how much I loved Check & Mate too (because I haven't read the author before!) The whole rivalry dynamic is so romantic to me so I was giddy :) And I'm glad you enjoyed The Neighbour Favour , one of my fav books last year, at the top with The Love Wager ♥

The same thing happened to one of my books that happened to the neighbor favor. My mom bought me a book for school off a used website and half the pages were falling out by the time I was done with it. Some were falling out when I first opened it as well.

If you like mixed media in books you should totally read a good girls guide to murder which is a mystery and illumine which is a sci-fi. Both do a fantastic job with mixed media and if you haven’t read them I think you’d like them!

If you want some other mixed media books that you may not have read I would read Once and Future Witches and The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow. Also the loneliest girl in the universe by Lauren James, Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart, and warcross by Marie Lu.
