With my friends and family it seems to be a falling away. We have all been Christian, but many are falling away, seeking answers from this world. Even I am susceptible to it at times, thinking I can find solutions to my problems in the world, but I always return, like the prodigal son. But because my foundation has always been Jesus I seem to be rejected most by those who stray the farthest from Christ. This channel along with a word from God, "I am the answer" is really hitting me now, Jesus ALONE is the answer.

I had a similar experience. I wondered why the OT believers had a relationship with God that is totally missing with Judaism today. My dad was the president of the Synagogue's men's club. The synagogue which he helped found. When I openly believed my parents wanted to send me to a deprogrammer, but it never panned out. I later graduated from a Bible college with honors. Then later on my dad had a change of heart when I began sending him recorded messages by Pastor R.B.Thieme jr, which he loved. He and my mom over time gave every indication that they too had believed. The Lord never stops.

Same conclusion I came to as a former Muslim. The Jewish people are the people who provided the womb for Jesus' arrival. And they stood the test of time, the ultimate test and proof in my mind. Muslims are very similar to Jews. Indeed that's one reason they fight with each other and why the Israelis have to be tough otherwise they will be assimilated . Given how Allah is as distant as the God in the Old Testament, I thank YHWH that the Jews remained insular and not as bellicose with outsiders to expand 😊😂

Yes, they can add so much depth when they share more detail about traditions, such as one man who told of the shepherds who raised and guarded the sacrificial lambs for the temple. They would have been the ones the angels told of Jesus’s birth, because of what they said, the symbolism. The lambs had to be spotless, and have never been injured. When one was chosen to take to the temple, it was wrapped in swaddling clothes to protect it while en route to the temple. When the angels told the shepherd he would be wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger...they understood that significance. This is something only the Jews can add to our understanding. It would be great to see a series of videos on these kinds of observations. Another little connection, because God likes to “bookend” his symbolism, ...when he rose, he left behind his grave wrappings. Sacrifice completed.

These testimonies are wonderful! God's call has ALWAYS been for all mankind to be holy as He is holy. It was never about religion. I've never felt comfortable with being called a Christian. Yes, I've been raised in a "Christian" home all of my life, but I try to tell people that I identify as holiness. As Paul writes to the Hebrews..."Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord." "God hath not called us to uncleanness, but unto holiness." When a person forsakes all to serve God, His presence is so real and there is nothing like it! No physical pleasure compares with the peace and joy in a human soul than when we experience God's holiness in our soul!

Oh praise be to God! What a wonderful testimony! I do pray for the Jewish people and their salvation. I don't think Yeshua is going to come back until we are united. The sooner the better! Eph. 2 explains how we are all going to be one people and Yeshua is the unifier! Really why would God create Jews and Gentiles but only love the Jewish people? We will all be Tabernacling together with Him soon I hope! Its hard to be a Christian without being Jewish sometimes too. I have been rejected by family and friends for it but I don't care.
