I think that you loved “A man called Ove” so I would recommend reading: “Frank and Red”- Matt Coyne. It was absolutely lovely! 🤗

I think you will love Mhairi McFarlane! her books are set in the UK, about people in their 20s and 30s, usually following a complicated group of friends/family. I recommend starting with Between Us. It’s about a group of old friends who worked in Waterstones and now later in life have a reunion in a fancy house. Follows all the drama at the reunion and all that follows. There’s so many layers to it. I loved it and gave it 5 stars! 😊 I have read Fourth Wing and Iron Flame after your recommendation and Xaden will be hard to beat as a love interest. Quicksilver is supposed to have similar vibes, I think it’s already out in US but I have preordered hardback from Waterstones which is out next month. It sounds great and the cover is really pretty!

I've just added it to my Xmas list because of this video! I know I'm in the minority but beautiful world was my favourite of them all! I think because the characters were a bit older. Would be good to re-read the first two again.

Another great reading vlog! Intermezzo seems interesting to me but sounds emotional and I don’t think I can take any sadness atm! I know exactly what you mean about animals making you emotional. I once saw a particularly sad cat video on Instagram and cried for two hours (!). Your cats are adorable btw. Random question but do you give them preventative flea treatment and if so what brand? I’m finding it hard to find one that’s been recommended and Frontline didn’t seem to work. As for book recommendations - I read The Bass Rock by Evie Wyld and Small Pleasures by Claire Chambers in the past couple of years. They’re both ‘quiet’ books and I enjoyed them both.

I highly believe you'll like "in the company of witches" by auralee wallance. it is a mystery book with a cozy atmosphere, funny dialogue & spooky feels to it

Hi Ciara, I'm not done with it yet but I think you would love it as much as I do: "Wellness" by Nathan Hill. It's a big book (around 600 pages) but I I can't put it down because it's so well-written and the characters are so relatable. Check it out!
