I rode this excursion with my grandfather, who rode the Reading commuter lines in the 1960s. It was quite possibly the best experience I've ever had.

I was supposed to be on this trip…however family concerns said otherwise. Ah well, I’ve got about 20 odd years before she goes down for another rebuild…great vid btw

The length of this video in minutes and seconds is 21:01, 2101, a preserved sister of 2102. Unfortunately 2101 will likely never run again as it was in a roundhouse fire a number of years ago when it was the Chessie Steam Special 2101. It's been cosmetically restored as American Freedom Train 1 in the B&O RR museum.

I have a feeling 2102 might reunite with its sisters 2100 and 2124.

Anybody out there knows what it costs to keep the much "older" coaches in tact? Man. I thought the OCRR had some derelict looking running stock, but WOW...I'm not sure I'd trust my life by riding behind the afore mentioned coaches in the apparent shape they're in. Is this just me?
