if you thought pretty girls was the IT girl, her sister book, the good daughter, is THE bombshell. The Good Daughter (god that book i remember reading in a boba shop and the first 50 pages made me scream). karin has a serious knack for creating real flawed grounded characters that really elevate the thriller genre for me, it's chef's kiss!!!!

See something I love to do is buy popular booktok mystery and thrillers and give them to my grandmother. If this woman can read a book a day and has been here for 85 years… girly knows all the tropes. All this to say I will be taking this list to her 🤭

Can I just say how much I absolutely LOVE the little adhd side tangents in-between reading sessions? as a (suspected) adhd girly myself it’s just nice to see what you’re up to and your random little thoughts that pop up because of course they do how could they not??? It makes it almost feel like i’m on a facetime/sleepover, just hanging out kinda vibes which is literally perfection from a channel like yours 🥰 (p.s. your news about your favorite snack and finishing the puzzle were just oh so fun to listen to you talk about ❤❤❤)

@Maddog441 Nope. It implies sex off page, but I don't think it has any on page descriptions. The setting was great, but the plot was not that great. On the other hand, Home before dark was really good with gothic horror themes

Honestly, this woman and this editing is SUCH. A. VIBE. I discovered your channel about 2 weeks ago with The Twisted series anddddd may I say I've been hooked ever since. (Also, I do see you've acquired books further in the series. Does this mean there would be more recaps? 😇🤪) I have watched and rewatched your videos in the last 2 weeks and had been waiting for your new one for the last 2/3 days. I rannnnn when I saw that you've uploaded today. 😂🥳 Needless to say I love how articulately you describe the content you read, how honestly you share your experiences of reading these books, whether they've been emotional or otherwise. You are the best/most entertaining content creator on this platform when it comes to books. I hope you'll continue making these kickass videos, with YOUR OWN UNIQUE WAY OF EDITING (which imo just breathe more life into your videos)🔥💘 in the future and will get to read some great books through them. 😇 Your channel sooner or later WILL BLOW UP. I. Am. A. Fan. 😇😂😂😂 - I got "Betty" and "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow" post your video and am so excited to read them. 😇 Thanks for the recommendations hon. ❤ PS. I hope you're taking care of yourself too, lexi. 💙✨

omg LEXI you should look into the controversy surrounding the housemaid / freida mcfadden... after i read the book, i was reading reddit discussions on it, and people brought up that it's basically the EXACT same plot as another thriller book - and apparently a few of other freida mcfadden's books also have the same plot as books by other authors!! hailey hughes also made an informative video on it, but i just thought it was super interesting that freida mcfadden has gotten so popular and not a lot of people have mentioned this!!
@newlynova Жыл бұрын
this is fresh, will definitely look into it... i will say the whole book was not the most original thing in the world (like it was pretty cliched already) but intriguing that there is a controversy
