Its a K5L on the first F unit not a K5La, a P3 on the Geep, and an M5 on F unit 903 it must have had the horn changed at some stage.

AUSSIETRAINDRIVER not really changing the horns are very hard. They have been removed and placed on a few times. They were built with M5s new

What is the different between a GP9 and GP10?

A GP9 was an original EMD locomotive, while the GP10 was a Conrail rebuild of the GP9. It got some upgrades to the cab and filters among others, but engine is the same pretty much.

Where’s the harm in continuing to operate these trains again, especially for those who have the utmost appreciation for them. In my opinion, they’re a treasure from our past and more of them need to be restored to operating condition for excursions such as these.

That old car is a 1955 Chrysler New Yorker. Chrysler's top of the line luxury car at the time. Styling and engineering was all new for 1955.
