Love your asmr voice! Very old school! To your point about suicide and religion - it may be that religions and those who founded religions began considering it a sin or a waste not necessarily because they didn't understand mental anguish (although our understanding of mental diseases are very different), but because the loss of a person doesn't - or shouldn't - just affect themselves. It's also a commentary on values. If in your values you see having Life as having any merit or value, then giving that up would be SOMEHOW reflected. And value structures is what religions are all about.
