william trevor is one of my favorite classical short story writers...a proper heir to Checkov...whose story 'the day we got drunk on cake' is one of my fave titles ever....i loved both the novel felicity's journey and the film...and Last Stories is as good a collection of stories as is possible....great to hear you talking trevor....and above all, congrats on Lukcy....it is so lovely to hear....we all need a good deck and a view to keep the world at bay...im happy for her....ok, happy bathing, to the 4 of you.....bb
