So this video is a compilation of funny and weird ban appeals in Town of Salem, I really enjoyed making this video as some of these were really funny :)
Town of Salem is a browser-based game that challenges players on their ability to convincingly lie as well as detect when other players are lying. The game ranges from 7 to 15 players. These players are randomly divided into alignments - Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists and Neutrals. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don’t know who is a Town member and who is a villain. If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught.

tbh i dont play coven, but claiming PB as jailor seems like a fine strategy. That guy shouldnt have got a report for it it could actually work, also you could confirm yourself as jailor anytime so that also fixes it.

Yes. If you try new strategy, and if you fail , you get banned. Even if you win, you get reported. People are so close-minded.

Clearly. Some of these reports were obviously troll reports that were obviously guilty ,but they appealed for it just to troll. But still, they were funny to read

Not true. Most of game throw reports make no sense - If I try a new tactic , should I be reported? Take my example : As a survivor, I claimed "WW who sides with town and stays at home". Because of that, as a survivor, I could analyze and push people without being a "too pushy for a survivor". Guess what, mafia and coven reported me for game throw even if I won.

@@alexale5488 Yeah i know a lot of reports are dumb shit , and i know of another Social deduction game where they will report for you trying to not just do the basic dumb stuff, and it sucks, kinda what i like about town of Salem you can strategize in many ways how to achieve your goal most of the time , of course somethings don't work but still

@@alexale5488 Wolvesville is another game very similar to ToS except that it's free , which obviously has made it grow a decent amount of players despite ToS just simply being better at least in my opinion, only thing that it has that ToS doesn't is more than an update per year

Small tip, you should look up the ban reports for a player called "Hagg1s", he has almost 100 (73 of them valid by my count and according to the terms of service) on record, pre-purge it was well over 100 lmao and he won't ever get banned or tempbanned. It's wild how BMG doesn't know how to enforce their own rules on jurors and the moderators friends. Good video though, the forums are fuckin wild lol.

To be honest, I liked to claim evil roles as Mayor, BUT NOT IN PUBLIC, I would whisp people who got lynch or that looked hell of a SUS, that way if the Mafia had a blackmailer they would leave me in peace, or even risk whisp me back, either way what happened was: Mafia tried to talk with me think I'm Exe, reveal and get they voted out I actully whisped a Town and they out me, reveal and confirm myself (and soft confirm the townier) It was honest, atlest in my head, the best thing I could do as Mayor, force a Evil role to claim to me

The is a huuuuuuuuuge bs. So it means I can openly report anyone claiming sk/arso/jugg d1 in CAA and they are either getting banned for gamethrowing cuz they out themselves or they are getting banned for gamethrowing if they are claiming evil role? Also if I get outed as a consig, I cannot admit it and push the ww i found because "claiming evil is gamethrowing"? And I can't put two of my mafs and a pirate into the Psy will to claim my vision is irrelevant and have a backup plan of "I can't be maf, I had mafs in my evil vision"? And I can't claim exe to an evil person as a bg/crus, asking to kill a random guy and then push me and then protect the person? (Worked 4 times out of 5)

It's mainly context. Sometimes it's a strat, claiming an evil role as a town is not a strat and is gamethrowing. If you put mafia in your fake psy will or working with fellow evils to get a win, that's fine, you're already outted? That's fine, do whatever you want and try to live to see the next day, no matter what it takes. But claiming evil outside of very specific situations where not claiming evil could very easily lose you the game on the spot? That's gamethrowing.

Going into a game with a player who is a known fucking cheater game throws and racist troll. And regardless of me making all of these facts aware through the appeal system. Their response was basically. “We know and we don’t care you still broke the rules leaving whole alive” Like wtf are these judges fucking robots? I don’t want to play with a cheater but I get suspended for leaving the game. It’s just asinine.
