Happy All the Time sounds like a nice easy-going read. The new kitchen looks nice! In my monthly reading, I am almost finished Dante's Inferno, have read most of The Myth of Sisyphus and Other Stories, have begun The Lady of the Lake, and finished Islands in the Stream a week or two ago.

Thank you. It was a nice birthday. I don't really want a car, it's just sometimes it would be nice to have one. Still, not enough to actually get one :D Chocolate is my kryptonite, what can I say

@@1book1review here in the american midwest, a car is absolutely essential because any meaningful public transportation is practically non existent. so the alternative is the daily headaches brought on by crazy traffic, mindless drivers, high insurance rates, and insultingly outrageous repair costs.🙄 krypto chocolate😄 love it👍🏼

@@Boxer309 yeah, same here in rural areas. My mum shuldn't drive anymore, but you literally are trapped where she lives then. There is so much independence connected to a car.

Happy belated birthday to your mom!! This past weekend was chill for me-read, watched a movie, did errands, etc. I’ve been reading East of Eden by Steinbeck-I should have it done before the next weekend. The next 2 weekends are 3-day weekends for me so hope to get a lot of reading done then.
