I'm so glad you reread it! I just love this series and even though everyone seems to have read the first book, I feel like it's still so underrated! It's not mentioned enough on booktube so this vlog makes me extremly happy! this year is my reread year. I’ve been reading new books along with just rereading books I’ve loved but haven’t read in years. so far I’ve reread 6 books so far and I’m loving it. so I’ll read one book I haven’t read, sometimes two, then one reread. it’s been helping me a lot with reading slumps.

An Ember in the Ashes is SO GOOD, I read it three years ago when it was released and I was so obsessed going around telling everyone to read it! I'm super excited to read A Reaper at the Gates. Kinda sad about the cover change though, cuz now my books won't match.

Last year I also re-read An Ember in the Ashes, and I enjoyed it so much! Sabaa Tahir's writing has a weird power to emotionally break me into pieces, in a good way (I've also read the second book, and the world has opened up further, and the ending ruined me).

First can I say that Clay is the sweetest and cutest ever....he goes out to get coffee before you are even out of bed? YES!!! LOL! And I picked up An Ember in the Ashes last week and WOW! LOVED IT! Started A Torch Against the Night today!!! And yes honey I feel you....I keep looking at all of my pretty summer dresses that I can wear to work with dreamy eyes....one day...soon! LOL! And FYI...this will tell you the level of nerd I have achieved LOL. This Saturday I had to get two wisdom teeth removed and when my anxiety started to hit I used Helene's mantra to help keep me grounded, centered and from flipping out! LOL! "Elias is free. Elias is safe" LOL!

Just wanted to say that if you love Paddington it was originally a children's book written by Michael Bond in 1956. I'm not sure if you would be able to find it outside of the UK, but it is such a cute little book and something that is really nostalgic for me from my childhood 😊
