I can’t speak for everyone but just reading the comments I know I speak for many - you don’t owe us anything! It’s super relatable that you have different priorities and go through slumps. Also you could make completely book free content and I’d be so excited to watch it! I have a lot of family in the UK and miss them and England so much, your videos help me feel connected to life in the UK so if you just showed your life minus reading, that would be ok with me! I totally understand the book slump due to attention span! What got me out of the slump honestly was deleting TikTok and not using instagram reels. After a couple days and sitting through a movie or two with no distractions I was able to sit and enjoy what I was reading without feeling bored or overhyped ❤❤

Girlie! I am in a slump, too. I have been able to kind of combat the slump by reading Mangas. I don't know if that would help you. I know there are some cute fantasy type genre ones. I just found myself really struggling to keep my attention when I open up chapter books. Especially the long ones. Which I adore fantasy... but this slump has been defeating me. Then, I decided maybe a Manga will help me feel connected to reading still, but not bogged down so much by the attention keeping that chapter books require. I think rotating Mangas [or Manga style reads] in my tbr is going to have to be a must from now on. ❤😅 I hope you're having a wonderful day. PS I loved the clips of your book by the waves. I love reading in nature, near nature....immersed in nature. It helps center myself and just calm the chaos in my busy mind.

I'm trying to get out of a reading slump that I've been in for the majority of January- I tried to read The Night Circus, and I DNF'ed it at 58 pages. I was so disappointed, so hopefully February will be a reasonable reading month ❤❤

I find it so annoying that books are released in hardback first here in the UK and then we have to wait for a year for the paperback. My CC1 and 2 are in paperback so I want CC3 in paperback too! I wish we were like Australia where they get the big paperback editions!
