I love both "The Hobbit" book and the movies. The book is a great adventure story, but the movies really give all the characters more personalities and depth. Are they as good as the LotR films? No. But do I still watch them all the time? Yes.

I would maybe look a bit further into yeonmi park before reading her book. While yes it is a harrowing story about her life and escape from North Korea, she is now an extreme right-wing conservative and has some really harmful political views, not sure she’s the type of person you’d want to be promoting on your channel.

Ok but where are the Orcs or the pale Orc that appear in the movies??? Exactly they don’t appear in the book! There are only goblins in the book!!

Azog is mentioned by Gandalf to Thorin in the book. He's referred to as a Goblin but Tolkien hadn't fleshed out those creatures yet. He and Christopher constantly changed things. 🤷🏻‍♀
