OMG same I have been turned back onto ready because of this and Books and Lala and few others who just are cool people outside of reviewing books and I am glad that I am open to Reading outside of fantasy/scifi . I am getting into suspense and thriller and even dipped into horror which I enjoy in screen but not late night when everything is creepy but now I like that feeling and also speculative fics And makes me feel like I could maybe start doing book tube. For me The Whispers was phenomenal. I was here for the suburban mom drama both with their kids and husbands. Ashley Audrain really did it again, back-to-back 5 stars for me. 👏 Glad you liked it Gabby!

Yes the dress is definitely cottage core and definitely, Blue is a great summer colour and will totally suit you. Plus bonus you can probably also wear it with a cardigan in other seasons or to Japan, Great choice, and I like the detail in these vlogs too. Of course, take advantage to get some acai bowls when you can, nutrition matters

Totally agree with you on The Whispers. I gave it 4 stars as well. I'm really liking Audrey Audrain's books though. I will be reading anything she puts out in the future. And you are so right when it comes to how she writes about motherhood. It's very raw and honest. And the last lines in both of her books... omg! Love it!

As a mother of 3 one 20 yr, a 14yr and 9yr old motherhood is a thankless job. But also sometimes rewarding, especially when you see them graduate high school which I did this year. Which he was behind only for the end testing they do in schools now of days.

Did you read “the best of friends” by Lucinda berry? Your description of the whisperer reminded me a lot of that book. I gave it 4 stars, really enjoyed it and would recommend if you like suburban mom drama with their kids and friends.

I don't know: Cute stories, clever dialogue, and funny chemistry make for a fulfilling reading experience but nonetheless I find myself clinging to the notion that if you're going to write possibly you should have something to say? Well, of course it makes no sense to criticize what you haven't read yet, so I'll just stop with the parting thought that there's a difference between a story with a plot and setting and characters and conflicts and spending a casual afternoon listening to someone weave a relaxing way to pass the time.

I keep meaning to ask you, is Tank your dog or your sister's? I loved the Push but The Whispers didn't quite work for me. I liked the themes around motherhood but all the infidelity stuff has been done to death in domestic thrillers and i felt that the mystery of the boy wasn't all that compelling. I agree that there were too many POVs. I am excited to try out Yours Truly.
