I had a really fun Winterween and liked most books, except Horns, which ooof. Also just finished the Hendrix book on audio and was surprised that it didn’t have an author note. The audio doesn’t have one at the beginning or end, I even went back to make sure I didn’t miss it, and nope. If the physical book has one I would love to know what he said.

If you ever reread We Need to do Something I definitely recommend the audio! The tongue scene was HORRIFYING and the ending with the repeated phrase 👀 love that book

👻When you were talking about Grady Hendrix and Nat Cassidy, it reminded me of The Vile Thing We Created by Robert P Ottone. That also deals with motherhood, crazy kids, and an interracial marriage. it was actually good. Very creepy. Would I recommend it to you though? Absolutely not. hahaha there is a very VERY traumatic birthing scene. But it's interesting that men have the ideas to write these stories.👻 Also, Dark Places has a movie adaptation. idk if you're interested in it because you DNF'd the book....and the movie wasn't a great adaptation. But it exists if you're interested haha
