Reading Water When Salmon Fishing

Thanks James,,however many years one has fished for salar,its always good to go back to advice...especially as at the moment when the hard hot summer and dry spring means one cant get out on shrunken rivers.I know Tyne gets Keilder release,and Im remembering days at Lee and Greenhall near Wark.... Like your advice about sunlight ,useful on any river... Heres to an early 6 am start and a hint of rain for Lune ,Eden,Border Esk! Safe wading on the Tyne and the hope of a new fish coming to the Allys Shrimp or Willie Gunn Simon Artley Manchester
