congratulations faith! love the concept of reading wedding themed books to celebrate 📖💍 I really appreciate the honesty about feeling overstimulated and slumpy too! It’s so easy to set our reading expectations high during travel but I often forget how busy & tiring it can be (which can make concentrating on reading after a long day feel impossible!) don’t beat yourself up because I can def relate and I’m sure many others can too! can’t wait to see your thoughts on love & other words!

Firstly, grats on the matromonials. As 2.5 is literally halfway I rate these books neither good nor bad. Just time passers. The Guest List for me ended up being 3+. Better than a time passer but not by much.

Faith, I seriously think it’s just the books, not you. I felt the same about the Unhoneymooners and the Guest List. I haven’t read Happily Never After but I know I don’t like Lynn Painter’s adult romances because they’re so physical and I feel like the emotional depth is pretty much nonexistent.
