As an indigenous person, the reason we have them on the same day is cause of Columbus Day… so we have indigenous peoples day instead of Columbus Day. At least that’s how my tribe celebrates it.

A tip for taking pills that just won’t go down: put the pill and whatever liquid you take with it in your mouth and tilt your chin down (look down) to swallow the pill instead of tilting your head back! I don’t know why, but this works!! 💚
