Lightfall and Witches of New York were both five stars for me as well. Did you know that one of the witches in Witches of New York first appears as a character in an earlier book, The Virgin Cure. And I just discovered there's a novella sequel as well.

This video has me convinced that the Grady Hendrix hype is just that, hype. I read and absolutely hated the Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires. His covers are intriguing but then I see the author and I'm like nope! lol I cannot wait to read Godkiller! Heard such great things.

I also was excited for How To Sell A Haunted House and gave it a 3 star. I have loved all the Grady Hendrix I have picked up until this one. I plan on picking up God Killer very soon. The cover of that book is everything❤

I started How To Sell a Haunted House but I didn't really read the synopsis closely and I was in the middle of settling my grandma's estate after she passed in a very traumatic way, so it hit too close to home and it really did not work. Now I have a visceral negative reaction to ever seeing it, so I don't know that I'll ever pick it back up. Also I've heard it involves dolls/puppets, which gets a fuck naw from me.

ok, I LOVE Unfamiliar! I think it's unresolved because it's an ongoing webcomic. I got a local library card, and they have a huge library of Libby audiobooks. I'm def adding Witches of New York to my list.
