in my opinion i love love loveee the christmas quest, i love how its not focused as much on the lore and difficult/long tasks. i feel like because its so much easier and not as focused on the lore compared to the halloween quest, it brings more joy and light that christmas brings. i just like how its focuses on christmas and winter more than lana lore and difficult obbies (except for candy jump thing).

That obby you have to complete is literally torture 💀. I finally complete it today, but I struggled with the obby of course. It came to a point where I was so glichy, when I jump I just froze in the ice, I had to keep on rejoining DTI when I froze, because the bar wouldn't work. don't get me started on it. I kept on raging since I was on console, they finally fixed the gliches so now I can finish it. ✨

It’s not the devs fault it’s the community because they spent a really long time on the Halloween update and everyone was satisfied and then the had a little less than 2 months to make a new lobby quest codes items hairs faces poses and more. So it makes sense that this update isn’t as big.

This! The dti devs had been working on the Halloween update since the summer one (I remember them dropping stuff about it) so obviously it was really good. The Christmas one is fun to, there’s nothing rlly wrong with it especially for how little time they had. Ppl have to understand that the devs have lives too, and a lot of them are relatively young. I hope we as a community can just be more grateful going forward

people do complain too much, but that doesnt mean _all_ their complains are invalid. the devs do cause a lot of their own problems, which im certain is because 90% of them are children. its fair to give them their grace, but its not like theyre three years old. they shouldnt be immune to criticism just because theyre young, theyre plenty old enough to know right from wrong. regardless, they need more experienced adults on their team. theyre talented but talent only gets you so far.

My opinion on the lore is that it is very little, but honestly if they had added as much characters, places, and overall character backgrounds it would have felt like an info dump. Slowly approaching a big chunk of story is going to feel so satisfying once we get there.

Yes, the faces were on the adventure calendar today. Also, for all of the people complaining about other people buying missed days, why does it matter to you that other people can have fun tying out the new items? And I have logged in everyday to get the items, and it’s not that hard, I just log in, grab the new item and leave. A bunch of comments we acting like it was so hard to log in, like if you have enough time to log in everyday, you probably don’t know about working hard, because the reason why people miss days is because they have jobs or school.

Literally, i have a friend group of three people and we always remind each other to do the calendar, literally all we do is join, click calendar, take the item and then leave. I think the complains are just people being lazy, but hey their loss🤷‍♀ Yet we have responsibilities and so on, 1 minute doesn't stop us from getting anything done. Plus (it might depend on the country or wtv) but we're in christmas break so of course we have time to do all these things. Just because you have time to log in everyday doesn't mean you have no job and do nothing with your life, that's a dumb and childish way of thinking.

I feel people need to understand that the process of game development is not as easy as they think it is. I was flabbergasted that so many people jumped onto the train of "the devs won't listen to us because they didn't remove the dressing rooms even though they said they would!" And I get the frustration but the reality is that huge changes like that take a long time to do. They simply did not have time to make the new UI design, code it, make it work easily and with minimal lag, quality check, bug test, polish it, etc. (because i know there's even more to that than i mentioned, i don't even know all of the things that go into making games) between the Halloween and Christmas update, especially with the other big plans they were developing. Not only that but it frustrates me when people seem to expect perfection from DTI, when really the game devs are all really young and are still learning and are obviously going to make mistakes. They can't please everybody, and the fact that some people expect a triple A level quality out of a roblox passion project game is baffling to me.

About the reworked iBella hair, the reason it got reworked was due to lag. The reworked version is not bad by any means, but in terms shape and volume, it’s really flat in my opinion. With the hair situation I think they (the devs) are reworking or deleting a bunch of old hairs. Like for example they deleted that crusty ahh bob which gave you the 10 head as well as the old marylin monroe hair and the side part bob. They also deleted the long ponytail. I think they want their hairs to not appear ancient or greasy, because there used to be a hair that when you coloured it looked really greasy but now it’s gone

Imo im really annoyed with all the people complaining nonstop about the update. Like yeah it wouldve have been a nice challenge if chapter 2 was different and i dont care for every item they added, but at least they added all these new features at all. Speaking up about glitches is completely understandable, but im tired of players complaining about not getting enough toggles or new items, but also whine when the game is laggy BECAUSE of the large number of items and features they are adding upon request (ik dressing rooms are probably a factor too). Wait I have new game mode ideas Item styler: On top of themes everyone gets the same item at the beginning that can't be removed but can be toggled and colored, small items like glasses or small accessories are not in the pool but things like hats, props, full skirts are game. With some VIP and code items mixed in and even smaller chances for the expired items. VIP lobbies will be available with evened chances for VIP items. Snowball: Snowballs can spawn in the map and if thrown force people into the lana lore ice. Lock out mode: Once an item is taken its unavailable for others, with the average item limit and speed set to even the playing field and restrict people from griefing items.

Hot take 1: They should make all the accessories available for the male creature and add more male clothing with toggles that can be designed and layered for the male creature. Hot take 2: Overlayering can be such an eyesore and CAN BE low effort. It can destroy creativity in designing, and in-real-life fashion or realistic fashion is better than (over) layering because layering is quite unrealistic. Making a good fit without layering, beats layering by a mile. In layering, you just hope the patterns works out and that's it. It's not always necessary in every theme 🫠 Simple layering I accept though. Hot take 3: The Coloring options should not phase through your fingers. So when you're tryna color or pattern an item, you don't accidentally press a random item in the background (mobile and maybe pc)

I SO agree with you on the first hot take.I think they should do a update completely based on the male body type. It's come to the point where even guys need to dress up as girls to make a good outfit.. But I know dti listens to the community so I hope they add more for male. I think so too overlaying Sometimes just does not look good and it is so unnecessary. It's even worse when people make very complicated complex And expect to win like no your alpha was good but There were better outfits and all that layering was not required. One time when I was playing dti in a PRO server these girls made a custom theme but ONLY between them. So myself and some other people followed the theme we were given. AND GUESS WHAT ALL THE GIRLS WHO DID A COSTUME THEME WON. I told them that dti had made a mode for that and explained it to them and also told them you can buy themes. So after I said that they said some people can’t afford the custom theme and I was like go to free play it’s literally FREE so that’s my story and I feel that pro servers are def turning into reg servers which I’m mad about because I worked so hard to be able to go to the pro servers. Anyways bye
