This has to be one of the few adaptations I've truly appreciated so far. I love the way they played with the word "way" (the title literally means "I'm walking my path") and the text in its whole doesn't look as rushed and superficial as most of the rest.

My goodness...the translation was very good. I would almost say I like the lyrics for this song better. The emotion, especially from Varian is so raw. I feel like it really captures what is being felt.

Je dois dire que j’aime beaucoup cette version aussi :) les paroles sont biens, les voix sont cools, même si un peu fragiles parfois... c’est peut-être celle que j’apprécie le plus jusqu’ici ^^

La voix de Varian se craque un peu trop facilement et il me dérange comme il essaie de sonner trop mauvais, mais pour le reste, je pense aussi que ça soit la version qui m'a plus convaincue

Can I ask you one thing. I’m Norwegian and today the Norwegian versions of Lion King came out. I’m actually a little bit disappointed about the song “can you feel the love tonight”. Cause I feel like they have done the version much more bad. Do you think the same? But Norwegian dubs isn’t usually good so maybe this wasn’t so worst for being Norwegian.

Well, in my opinion, there might be two good reasons why you didn't like this new version of the song. Firstly, the original Norwegian version is generally one of the best versions made for this song, so no wonder most remakes will blanch when compared. Secondly, the new version is a poppishy, commercial rearrangement of the track, sung and portraied in the most poppish and commercial way possible. So. I wouldn't blame Norway generally speaking for being "bad at dubbing", because I don't think it's true: Norway often succeeds at bringing very good performances which can stand any comparison with no big problems. Not always, ofc, but any language has its ups and downs, don't you think you're special ;) I'm generally not very interested in this remake, so I'm not really following it, but from what I could hear, it tried to stay as close as possible to the original movie (just removing all its colourful and playful traits), while CYFTLT was turned into an easy-selling pop song. Then again, IMO it's not the Norwegian version to be worse than the original, the entire movie is. ...IMO

AS an Norwegian i aculy think This is crap ok They Are in some parts late Saing what they Are going to say so the caracter is open Their outh and nothing is comming our for a solid second Like in 0:15 the Queen is wery late saing Varian. and 0:40 The "Villan" is wery hoarse and is just screaming in my ear And when they Are saying in the english verson "i'm ready" they Are saying in the Norwegian verson " hvem blir med meg" * who goes with me And IT just dont sound the same Also i just think they are singing cinda sour in sone parts. This i just my opinion. Like if you agree
