Anim8ball, you spoil us :P But seriously, should be an interesting week of reviews since outside of Coraline(which I still need to watch), I can't say I'm too familiar with any of these films(or show, in Gregory's case) beyond hearing about them from others. Animation is stilted, but it has a place in the horror genre. Cruelty is a part of humanity, and Midori does not celebrate cruelty, but shows it as cruel, and is immensely emotionally potent. Prefered the manga, though.

He stated that "I by no means think this is a good movie", but he wouldn't call it the worst movie in the world either. And I can kinda see why. The third act IS kind of interestingly dark, while the first 2 parts were pure shit. I haven't seen Midori, only a few clips from it from a Top 10 Worst Anime of All Time video by Phantom Strider and Anime America on Phantom's channel, but from what I've seen, I can see why it's the worst of all. Sooo let's see if Anim8ball can see anything good about it XD
