Ready in 15 Mins Pomelo Mango Sago 杨枝甘露 - A Classic Cantonese (Hong Kong) Style Sweet Soup (Dessert)

Super easy sugar-free vegan and gluten-free mango dessert! You can whip this up within 15 mins! It is really up to you how much you want to make since it is a preference for more mango, more sago, or more coconut milk. I've added a little bit of oats milk to make it more liquid so it's drinkable using a straw. (I like it half coconut milk and half oats milk so the coconut flavour doesn't overpower the mango sauce)
In this recipe, I've made 4 cups (250ml each) in total
100g sago (it's better to use the small ones)
2 large mangos (they were super ripe, so I didn't have to add any sugar but if you want you can add some sugar)
1/4 pomelo (around 300g flesh)
Coconut milk (around 100g)
Oats milk for diluting

2 mangos grandes 100g perlas de sagú pequeñas un cuarto de pomelo (aproximadamente 300g pulpa) 100g leche de coco leche de avena para diluir opcional: azúcar esta receta rinde 4 tazas (250ml cada una) en total (lo siento, mi español no es bueno)

Let's not sugarcoat this - your method for cooking sago is totally wrong. You're telling people to put sago in room-temp water and boil it? Seriously? Your backwards method means the sago's starch leaks out before the surface can set by heat, turning the whole thing into a goopy mess. Congratulations, thanks to your culinary blunder, I now have a pot full of inedible starch sludge instead of sago. Maybe try actually cooking sago before writing a recipe next time? You've just wasted my ingredients and time with this disaster of a recipe.

yes but I want to try...how to avoid....we have too many newly harvested pomelos. And I wanna give it a try... Can I just use powdered milk instead? I have problems with coconut milk 😢

@@rod_triplxvi739 if you have evaporated (70%) and fresh milk (30%) ratio, you may want to try it, some recipes uses this combo. BUT go easy in case you are lactose intolerance!
