RoN is definitely a game that rewards slower gameplay, especially with how large some of these maps are.

With the way the AI is now, it doesn't matter if you play it slow or not. You either get lasered or wallbanged just because the suspect AI spots a small part of you. I don't know if it's just me, but the AI before 1.0 was more manageable. It feels like you have to shoot first and ask questions later to survive lol

Your AI mod is probably the best ones I've used for solo play. Did you ever update it? I miss it.

I haven't really gotten it tweaked like I had it before the UE5 update, they added no variables and changed some base behavior, but I can try to get another one up

do you know how to make the view through scope more brighter? idk why they make the view so dim through scopes

I unfortunately do not, it's got lighting issues because they render that scope with "picture-in-picture" which is hard to explain but it's basically having the optic render the entire scene AGAIN but at a much lower resolution compared to native

Maybe a dumb question but, is the fact that the bots die in 1-2 hits (usually) part of a mod, or am I just that bad at aiming? I thought maybe it had to do with the suppressor, but that shouldn't be it. Normally I run .300 BLK and it takes me about 3 hits averagely.

JHP ammo makes a noticeable difference to center mass hits on suspects without armor compared to AP and an even bigger difference with the "Gunfighter" mod over on Nexus that reworks a lot of the ballistic properties for each ammo type. A lot of the guys I only shot once or twice didn't actually die but were instead incapacitated, best way to tell is with the icons over the bodies you report, if it's got two curved arrows forming a circle that person is alive whereas if it shows a skull then they are dead or potentially playing dead, if you see no blood pooling under their body then they are still alive.

​@@realAlpha-6Not a problem my dude, I whole heartedly recommend everyone download "Gunfighter" because it does more than just rework ballistics, you'd also be a big fan if you like running .300blk as it changes the JHP ammo to "OTM" which is subsonic and deals higher damage almost on par with .308 making the BRN-180 and MCX rifles an absolute treat to play with.

Can’t speak to the game but in real life 300blk super sonic is going to be giving you similar terminal performance to 7.62x39 while 300blk subs are essentially equivalent to a .45acp so that may have something to do with it.

@@Villain_Actual Thanks for the info mate! Yeah, in-game I notice the difference between .300BLK and 5.56 it's pretty insane. I love using the HK416 but it seems only the MCX (among a few others) seem to run .300BLK. Additionally I always run AP instead of JHP, which is probably the main reason for my lack of terminality at times. Then again, it has its merits in some situations. In truth, I'm pretty much an amateur and don't want to speak too much on things I don't know much about, so again thanks for the info my guy, learnt another thing today!
