What a reveal trailer. The deafening gunshots, the implied storylines of human trafficking and school shootings, the chaotic sequencing and editing. This game could show the mainstream industry that modern and tactical fps aren't just oorah kill-fests with little attention to atmosphere or detail to the story. With equal attention to the quality of the gameplay, and not veering off into implementing stupid weapon skins or ridiculous gadgets, this game could be huge. Fingers crossed.

Shot in the chest: Lower Health more, Fall to the ground, Instant Death, slow down Shot in the Head: Instant Death or Knockout. (Depending if they have kevlar) You could go on about the possibilities

Non-lethal way in SWAT 4 was my go to game mode. It was immersive cuz irl you don't want to kill people and you don't want to get killed. So it was intense with full of tactics. You cant just rush in and gun everyone without yelling "GET DOWN NOW!" cuz police officers have rules. That's y me and my friends prefer SWAT4 over Rainbow Six and other shooters. Cuz SWAT 4 is not a shooter. It's so much more. And the missions were build upon this. Like Fafairfax residence or Children of Taronne Tenement where you've found a graveyard in the basement and changed your whole perspective about the mission and those cultists. And I expect this kind of thing from Ready or Not! It's not an easy task but man...

SWAT was great. Not only did it have unique strategic game-play. But it wasn't afraid to pull you aside and yell at you for half an hour because you shot someone, even if you had no choice. In SWAT 4, there is already a fairly dark/ (dare I say realistic) tone in the series missions, this one doesn't seem so different, situations from the trailer imply human trafficking all the way to what seems to be a school shooting. It is very well thought out. The scene starting in 1:00 is very similar to a scene in an Israeli animated documentary movie "Waltz with Bashir" where Israeli soldiers are proceeding through a lush grove in similar fashion. The film uses Bach's Cantata 156 "Arioso" while this uses Bach's Orchestral Suite no. 3 "Air". It can be no coincidence!

I'm probably too late to comment about the trailer, but since I recently bought this game recently and before I did that, I searched about it. And I can see why a lot of people recommended it to me. So far, I can see the game portrayed everything according to the trailer. Not glorifying violence, but honoring the victims and the people who are giving their all to protect the civilians. Also, while very minor, some people say this game is glorifying violence. This reveal trailer is a perfect counter argument to that claim. If the game was glorifying violence, the background music would be a rock music that made the breaching badass. They would be high fiving for their work in a very enthusiastic mood, they would be smiling all the time. And in game, the headquarters would be a clean, high tech office with state of the art equipment. Instead, the background music for the reveal trailer is G String of Air. And while I am not a big classical music fan, nor know about it, in my personal opinion, it is one of the most peaceful classical musics well known and it is signifying the world the SWAT officers want to desperately protect. Ironically, the reality the SWAT officers are facing is quite tragic. They face people who got shot in a grusome manner dying painfully, dead kids, and inhumane conditions such as human/sex trafficking. And in game, the headquarters is messy, the mood is gloomy and the officers all look exhausted and painful. And maps are showing the reality of the world's underbelly, the darkside. Now the game, you can enjoy it with your friends and play light heartedly. But the details of the maps that makes people sick to the stomach will keep people in mind that this is not just the game, it might be happening in reality.

I want something based on SWAT and cooperation not competitive multiplayer where the gameplay just divulges into who can get the most kills and throw the most explosive grenades into a room with the hostages still in them.
