By the time of the upload, I had maybe around 1000 attempts at the level at least. This was the first level I played when I installed ready or not and basically the only level I played. I only moved on to other levels when I was able to complete this one solo without taking damage. The Voll doll house is next, sometime this weekend I’m hoping.

It seems like you were leaning more further sometimes than usual throughout this gameplay. How?

Go to the settings menu and change your HOLD free lean button to ctrl. then hold ctrl and hold A (or) D to do a stationary "lunge" lean. If you hit e or q right before doing this, your "lunge" will be much quicker as well. If you bind your hold crouch button to ctrl in tandem with the free lean button, you will drop to a knee almost instantly and lean extremely quickly. Very very useful for peeking enemies that are holding your position and for peeking enemies that you know the exact position of.

I know you pretty much picked the perfect run you had out of a thousand but Im still unsure if you had the same broken AI? It might be just poor reaction time on my side. Any ideas, thoughts? I quit ready or not a while ago because the devs never seemed to be able to make a good AI. But yeah, back then it was really difficult for different reasons being that enemies could fully walk past closed doors with their weapons up without making any noise at all. Now its a different problem with all the AI having insane reactions. The problem is that the AI KNOWS exactly where u are at all times. I dont think the devs know how to figure out how to make the AI behave properly and realistically without them knowing ur exact position at all times. The AI inherently knows exactly where u are shooting when u shoot, and knows exactly which door u are walking through when u walk thru a door. Its incredibly disheartening and if u watch my most recent videos on ready or not u can pick out all of these things if u pay close attention. On top of that the devs made a shit ton more loading screens so doing these runs are incredibly draining and time consuming. Its really sad that enemy AI is in such a poor state in all tac shooter games really. Im waiting for them to make an update that actually fixes the AI or release pvp before ever touching the game again. If u are insistent on trying this right now in the games current state, just know that u can do everything perfectly and still get fucked by the AI. It def feels like the solo runs are just gambles on how the AI behaves rather than actual tactics and skills. Good luck bro.

I actually tried to study what was happening a bit by using he replay feature and just kinda lasering where the AI was looking. It was usually my location with 1m acuracy. One AI actually heard me open a door, and because I blocked the way to me, he actually went up the stairs around the whole fkin map just to start shooting at spawn area lmao. I even tried AI mods but its just not helping. And yeah the loading screens. Just why the hell do we have to wait 10seconds for start when the map is most likely already loaded? Ive literally restarted shouldnt it be all ready? Yeah its stupid and just makes restarting infuriating, I cant stand this game anymore and playing for more than 15minutes is just brain damaging. But thanks for the response mate, hopefully they update it so its somewhat more playable. Cheers.

Lmao this is great. Sometimes it's fun to just kick back and disregard protocol and just go full SAS or GSG9 on suspects 😂 I wonder if there is already a built-in system in place where you can turn on or off certain modifiers like making the suspects more aggressive or removing penalties for unauthorized deadly force like in this situation without using mods. That would be really cool and also add more replay value to missions. Hey RoN devs, get on that shit right away!

Step 1: install the high ready mod on the nexusmods website. Step 2: aim down your gun and hold down that aim button. Step 3: Press your low/high ready button and start moving, you will put your gun to the side like I have in the video

Depends on your fps experience and play style. As soon as I started the game I knew that the SWAT AI was complete garbage so I never ever used them. I played the whole game solo, so I can’t really give u any advice really.

whata re ur keybinds? do you use free lean more than standard leaning?

My binds are all listed in the description you can check them out there. For leaning I use both. I bonded my free lean to control so my regular leans to toggle e and q. I press either button than immediately press control+S+A or D and then that’s how you do the “lunge” leans as I like to call them. These type of leans are very very quick and very good for those snapshots on enemies. However you have to also be very careful because coming out of those leans is significantly longer than normal leans and leaves you exposed for a longer amount of time. Also the AI in this game doesn’t really react differently to the speed at which the player is moving, and so quick leans like this are generally ineffective at “dodging” the enemies bullets. I mostly use it because it’s very convenient since your character moves very slowly while lean peaking. If you would like to see a visual example of my doing this, I have a face cam and don’t mind making a video showcasing exact preciseness and quickness needed for these set of button presses.

@@Maximus-n7v there's a setting in the control menu i think its called soemthing like "default team command" or something like that, if you set it to a keyboard bind (i put mine to tab) and then spam it at random wall far away like i did in the beginning of the mission, your character will say "move over there" and the ai will go to that wall and never move again until you give another command. If you're still confused, I'll show you how to do it in the next video I put up. Just let me know :)

It was on purpose, getting a good grade on the mission is very easy, the harder mission is completing the entire level solo without taking any damage. My video focuses on the latter version.

Wouldn’t really be the “perfect menace” then would it? If I wanted to spend 30 minutes properly clearing everything I would do so. But that isn’t the point of the video, it’s more of a challenge to see if I can clear the entire map without relying on sights or crosshairs. And lo and behold: I still cleared it better than you ever will.
