English for flying! English for airports! English for traveling! Learn the essential English words and phrases for traveling by plane! I give you language for buying a plane ticket, checking in for your flight, checking your bags, going through security, boarding your plane, and arriving at your destination.
This video is a bit long, so please feel free to listen to it while you cook, drive, do yoga, or do whatever it is that you normally do.😀
I'm Teacher Mike, and I'm an English teacher from the United States.
I have also worked as a communication quality manager in a five-star hotel and as a communication coach at a company that trains Japanese business professionals in the communication skills that they need to succeed on international teams.

I'd like to book a round-trip ticket for The United States. She prefers to fly Premium economic, and have a window seat. He had two layovers during his flight. How long will the layover be?. If you want to check an extra bag, you will have to pay an excess baggage fee. A boarding pass is a ticket, that allows you to board a plane. Flight crew refers to the team that flies the plane: the pilot, the co-pilot. Cabin crew refers to the people who assist the passengers: flight attendants. Prepare for take off. We are going to take off in five minutes. The passengers experienced some turbulence, and had emotion sickness during their flight Please, prepare for landing. After flying, I couldn't hear well, my ears are clogged up. After flying, she experienced jet lag. Jet lag is when your body has difficulty adjusting to a new time. Thanks a lot, Mike. A wonderful video with a lot of new vocabulary, and information about planes.😊😊

I'd like to book a one way ticket for New York. Non-stop flight trip is when your flight goes from one city to another city without any stops in the middle. Direct flight doesn't always mean that there are no stops in the middle. A direct flight means there is only one flight number. She prefers a non-stop flight and a window seat. If you fly from Lima to New York, you will depart from Lima, and you will arrive in New York. My partidure is in Lima ,and my arrival will be in New York. Airfair: the price of the ticket. The company paid for all of its employees airfair. He had a 8 hours layover in Rome. Thanks a lot, Mike.😊😊
