Maverick Quantum R First Run

I adjusted the steering dual rate and solved the Issue. A friend of mine just swapped the servo for a 12 kilos (and a bit slower) one and worked well too for him. Nice run, this Maverick is super cool and tears the tarmac on 4s. Great street basher for the price and tons of fun delivered by it.

@Mikekixaxe Thank you! I adjust the D/R too but same results. I ended up opening up the diffs and putting diff oil. Front and rear only had a dab of grease. Also installed AVC transmitter and receiver. World of difference. This truck has so much potential.

Use a Dumbo and the Gyro receiver. With the Dumborc, imo it will be 100% nicer having more dual rate control and gyro assist. A faster servo would help too. Stiffen the diff oil also slightly. Great little car with heaps of potential. Good vid Ready Set! Thank's.

@@ReadySetRC i cracked mine the day i got before running and my front and rear were dry , barely any green grease at all , dont know how they let them out of the factory like that ... i ended up doing after a few trials 50k front and rear and 100k centre and seems to do me just fine now with gyro aswell

I'm going use my radiolink rc6gs radio for more settings Inc AVC gyro throttle curve , steering speed dual rates etc etc Try a shorter servo horn

@Bikes RC 46 Thanks man👍 She can handle 4S but will need a bit of diff tuning. There is only small amount of grease in front and rear diffs. That could be why it runs well on 3S. I put 30k 100k 15K, it runs so smooth. Also swapped out the radio system to AVC.

Nice need sway bar kit drop it lower diff tune move the shock position to lay down a little plus a tork bar across the middle. Avc is a must a little toe in the front wouldn't hurt also tires need to change better grip Much love 👊🏁🏁🏁

Nice looking truck, and goes well too! I like the way the rear diffuser was trailing a faint line of sand behind. How is that carpark so empty on such a nice day?? I've got a Maverick too, one of the 1/10 models, and even though the Tx felt nice to use, it's range for steering off the wheel is so short and quick, so I've changed things out using a different brand, much better now. Stock controller made things very twitchy.. is there another hole further out on the servo horn?

@Craggle RC Oh this is in the brink of winter here in the northeast. This day is was warm in the 50's but fairly early. Totally agree, controller swap is going to help out a bit.

@@ReadySetRC yeah I think it's range of movement is too narrow with that Tx, though its scope to get to full lock is there but crikey it gets there within a few mm's of movement. The difference when I changed out the radio gear in my Maverick was an instant comfort.

I've put a faster HV servo in mine with a radiolink rc6gs with gyro , 500k oil centre , 100k front and 60k rear , and its awesome and it drift when I want it to on 3 and 4s , i only arrived yesterday 😀

Really cool rig man….. looks very quick….. I’m by far no expert with these RCs for sure but that high pitched whirl I’m hearing makes me think that something is maybe a skew with the diffs….just my opinion… as your usual…. @PitBull RC LTD Thanks man! Yeah the gear mesh sounds like it's too tight. Funny thing every video I've watched the mesh has sounded the same. This is going in the shop for controller swap and then after that run a bit of tuning. Think it's going to need it😊
