Great Video! How do you delete or clear the learned control?

Check the "Connect" menu on the left-hand side (next to view). You can delete MIDI connections there.

Hi Simon and thank you for the excellent reaktor tutorials! Question: is there a way to get access to raw Midi CC value in my Reaktor.. 'code'? I mean, I would like to create a Reaktor block with an knob, use the assign to Midi and then do some special handling for each received Midi CC and then output value that I can use elsewhere.

I'm not really sure how you would do this within Reaktor, but maybe someone here can comment. In my case, I would probably do any sophisticated transformations of MIDI data in Max/MSP or PureData, then send those events to Reaktor for the synthesis. One of my philosophies is to try to let every software do the thing that it's best at, and not be afraid to bring in other tools. That way, if everything's doing what it does best, maybe there's a clearer path to great aesthetic results!

Thanks! It doesn't seem to work when Reaktor is a plugin in logic though... how do you do that?

Hmmm. Your DAW might be hijacking the MIDI or OSC messages. You can always re-learn (right-click) the MIDI Controls with Reaktor as a plugin too.

Very interesting, does it work with bluetooth too? Also how do you reset to default values ?
@SimonHutchinson4 жыл бұрын
If you're sending the OSC (or MIDI) data over bluetooth it should work. You can mess with all of these settings more manually (including resetting them) by going click on the knob or slider and going to to "Connect" on the upper left. Let me know how it goes!

how can i map my midi controller (trigger finger) to the reaktor knobs (let say groovebox and i want to control the decay knob) how can i map it? the learn midi won't run nor recognize the turning of knob. it recognizes some pads but that changes the entire scene.

Hmm. There are a lot of factors here, so it's kind of impossible to troubleshoot remotely. You should try to figure out what CC your Trigger Finger is sending (maybe check the manual?), and then make sure it's in the MIDI devices for Reaktor. You can always see what a knob is listening to in the "Connect" pane in the upper left. Good luck!
