If you want to try combining her love of painting with the outside you could try buckets of water with paintbrushes, 'painting' with the water on the patio or walls outside. Less messy and as it dries its a whole new blank canvas :)

Your 100% right Carys about the playroom. I'm a nursery teacher and I find if there too many resources out the kids either don't know where to start or they pull everything out and there's no sort of meaningful play foing on. Pair it right back and rotate her toys. Plus due to Amber's age she will think its new toys and learn so much more and not be Iver stimulated, Fab job! wish more parents would think like this! Xx

Try nail polish remover for the marker pen in the playroom. With some luck it should remove... That's what I used when my daughter drew on the furniture. Great Vlog as usual.... I’d recommend getting a chalkboard for Amber, instead of a whiteboard, because if she draws on any of the furniture, you can just brush it off or put it in the wash! Hope this helps :)

Chalk paints are great for outside! Big sweeping brushes and different sized paint brushes are great for gross motor movements and all the mess is outside, it just washes off the patio in the rain! Just a tip from an Early Years teacher who loves the outdoors and a bonus of no cleaning up afterwards😂

Just watching along and paused to comment. Infacol is fab. Helps straight away i swore by it with both my boys. Also, at the age of 2, my eldest dropped his nap and slept 12 hours at night, 7-7. He's nearly 7 now and sleeps 10 hours at the least and 12 at the most. My youngest who's 2 in July has decided to drop his nap and sleep 12 hours at night instead of 10. It works so much better for school runs and things ❤xxx

Did the Mr. Clean magic eraser work on cleaning off the maker on the dresser, if not give it a try, they have one with soap too. Just try on a small spot sometimes it takes the paint off. Take your time sometimes the body takes more time to heal after a baby, back awhile my doctor sometimes says it could take six months to fully heal. I would really like to see a healthy journey blog, that would be fun. The girls are adorable 😊 I forgot to add when my boys were little I would, “ Drive the car” I would run my finger all around their face. Hint/ like a car is driving, they loved it so relaxing, just like combing her hair. Worked every time.

My little one had bad colic and wind..which never let her sleep properly and when ever I would feed her she would fall asleep so she was stuck in this pattern of snacking...never getting a full feed or sleep it was horrendous. I had to completely give up dairy and soy which is harder than you think and eventually slowly things got better. She started sleeping longer 4-6 hour stretches by 6months old...she was rather impossible to put down for day nap but we eventually got 3, 30 minute ones in and then closer to a year she started sleeping 1 hour and 1/2 nap sometimes 2 hours which was amazing...but infacol or gripe water never worked

Hairspray may work on the dresser where there is Pink marker in the play room. Also amber could design her own shurt to wear while she is painting or being creative so her clothing stays fresher, I used a white shirt of daddy's for my daughter to decorate

You should try taking Mabel to a chiropractor and see if that helps with the trapped wind!! We’ve had some issues with ear infections in our family and the chiro has done wonders!! Worth a shot! 🥰🥰

Just wondered if you’ve tried the magic erasers on the cupboards where Amber has done her lovely artwork etc they are amazing. My daughter in law uses it and she says nothing else gets it off other than these which are truly magical 💫 You can purchase from supermarkets, home bargains, B&M, savers etc. Hope this helps and you don’t mind me sharing xx

My baby struggled so badly with trapped wind in the early days! Do you burp Mabel after every feed? I was told when breastfeeding you don’t need to, but I was BF my son and started burping him after each feed and he didn’t struggle with trapped wind anymore! So I wanted to let your u know that sometimes bicycle pump isn’t enough for trapped wind. I did see that massaging the tummy bottom half in a clockwise direction can help even better with baby stretched out. My daughter is a couple months younger than Amber and had same belly problems like Mabel. We still can’t really give her beans or onions much because her belly.

Re the playroom pen saga…Draw over the pink with another colour that does come off (do a small test patch first) but this worked for us!! Also, a lot of the pink stuff may help too - good luck! x

One good thing about having a toddler is you can redirect her to more outside activities rather than painting or crafts. During the summer you should have her out more as fresh air good. ❤

Use hand sanitiser to get the pink pen off the board. I worked in a school and hand sanitiser gets pen out of many things but especially gets staining pens off whiteboards and the occasional permanent marker 😂
